Training for companies with Coach Values

The Players Association develops this outdoor training activity taught by ex-football players of the Club

Is it possible to manage the finance department of a multinational as if it were the staff of FC Barcelona? Which aspects of the management of a football team like Barça can be transferred to the business environment? These are some of the questions asked by the Club's former players to the attendees at the start of the Coach Values day given by the FC Barcelona Players' Association. And the conclusion reached after this outdoor training activity for companies is that elements of the management of professional teams such as communication, teamwork, leadership strategies or conflict management are common both in a business office and a world-class team like Barcelona.

Coach Values is an activity run by ex-football players of the Club who are members of the Group and which mixes the more academic aspect with the implementation on the field of play. And never better said: the participants - already dressed in the Barça shirt - put on their boots and put into practice exercises and dynamics with a background based on the development of social skills, which are also necessary in high-performance teams of the 'business environment.

Before that, however, the group met in a training room to delve deeper into the case of La Masia and the methodological elements of FC Barcelona's work as a world-leading team, many of which can be transferred to company day And already on the football field, the day continues with a talk on wardrobe management, which can be extrapolated to the day-to-day management of a work team. To finish, ball exercises and final reflections, collecting the conclusions of a day that aims to be a high-impact and decisive experiential experience.

One of the last Coach Values days organized by the Group was with the IESE business school, and was led by former Barcelona players Juanjo Carricondo, Fede Bessone, Migue González, Jordi Martínez and Marc Valiente.
