The Players' Association starts a new training season for companies at Camp Nou and with former FC Barcelona players.

A group from the IESE business school participated on Friday september 9, in one of the training sessions that the FC Barcelona Players Association offers with its Coach Values program for companies.

A team building activity to know the FC Barcelona work methodology and to be able to apply it to the business environment. On this occasion, it was a double session, theoretical and practical, directed by the former player of Barça Jofre Mateu focused on the importance of teamwork and the group.

Through the values and skills he learned during his career at FC Barcelona, Jofre Mateu explained the importance of having a vision of the future, of observing before acting. To understand this idea, he gave as an example the current coach of FC Barcelona, Xavi Hernández, and his way of playing on the field. «If you notice, Xavi is always looking around to know what to do, he is always watching what is happening around him so he can act in the best way», explained the exblaugrana. In this session he also noted the importance of organizing both long-term and short-term goals.

After the theoretical session, the ISESE group moved to the pitch. With Jofre and with Dimas Delgado, Bettina Klindtberg, Jordi Martínez and Samuel Okunowo, the group did different exercises that helped them to deepen the aspects discussed previously and to be able to put them into practice in their day to day.

During the activities, they worked mainly in creating the group. The participants went on to perform a series of tasks in which they worked leadership, making commitments, role distribution, communication among participants and, in sum, the teamwork to achieve the same goal, in this case win the proposed games.
