The Barça Players Award 21/22 already knows the 6 names of the footballers of the FC Barcelona first football team who opt for recognition for their fair play. The award promoted by the Club's Players' Association distinguishes the best conduct, both sporting and non-sporting, of the season, in this case 2021-22. The first voting phase was open to all Barça fans from May 11 to 25. In this period, more than 1,600 culers chose the finalists to be in the men's category: Pedri with 31% of the votes, Ter Stegen -winner of the 2019 edition- with 11% of the votes and Araújo with 9% of the votes. And in the case of women, the selected ones have been: Alexia -also the winner of 2019- with 41% of the votes, Aitana -who received the recognition last season- with 17% of the votes and María "Mapi" León with 5% of the votes.
The next phase of the award will be in the hands of a jury made up of people linked to the Agrupació, the Club, the sports institutions of Catalonia and the media in which they will decide next Tuesday, May 31, which player of the first team They deserve the FC Barcelona Players Association Award.
