The Association celebrates a massive Meeting in Cervera

Barça Players Association celebrated this Saturday in Cervera (Lleida) a new edition, the number 18, of its Annual Meeting. This was the last act of the Barça Players Week, which for three days has brought to the capital of La Segarra the values of Barcelona and the club's alive history, with activities carried out by ex-players and former Barça players. In the final day, 200 ex-footballers of the Club met in a celebration completed with the homage given to the Women's FCB in 1994, the winning team of the Queen's Cup, and the Juvenil Sub19 of the same year, which goes get the doublet The meeting, led by the president of the Association, Ramon Alfonseda, was attended by the director of FC Barcelona responsible for relations with the ABJ, Pau Vilanova, and the councilor for sports at Cervera, Joan Prat.
The Barça Players Week counted on their events with the participation of more than 400 people: sports clinics aimed at children and children of the locality and led by members of the ABJ, the talk "Stick to the sport" on healthy habits and sport, a reminiscence and soccer workshop for people with cognitive impairment, a show of puppets around the theme of refugees and a conference on the relationship between FC Barcelona and Catalanism. During Saturday 15 June, the last day of the event, 200 ex-players and former Club players and their companions gathered to participate in the football matches that have been played at the Cervera Sports Camp.
