The Barça Players' Association (BPA) has officially begun the sportive season this Tuesday. A ceremony has been held in the Miniestadi facilities to celebrate. Most of the 175 ex players who, throughout the year, participate in the BPA's sports activities -matches and trainings- have attended.
The Association's President, Ramon Alfonseda, has said he is positive that in a few years, the Nou Espai Barça will allow the Club's ex players to have more and better facilities to carry out their sportive activity. On his behalf, Pau Vilanova, FCB manager who takes care of relationships with the BPA, has thanked the ex players' commitment with the Club, and has encouraged them to set themselves a few goals for the new season such as "to enjoy, to not lose the warmth and to practice the motto 'more than a Club'". The sportive vicepresident of the Association, Josep Moratalla, has specifically thanked the staff's task, including coaches, delegates, equipment managers, physiotherapists, doctors, and warehouse people.
