The Barça Players’ Association presents its website in English

The access to the organization's daily life is now more accessible for English-speaking followers

The Barça Players’ Association (BPA) wants to welcome its English-speaking followers to its new section in English. We believe that an international approach to our entity will not only give us a broader voice throughout the globe but will also offer our supporters a closer and more detailed view of our task.

The BPA is a non-profit organization founded in 1959. We work daily to keep ex FC Barcelona players in touch by organizing trips, tournaments, and receptions. But most importantly, we help those ex-players who, after their sportive career ended, could not success in their new professional lives.

The aid we offer is both economic and social: former Barça players can sign up for English and IT courses, but can also receive medical and financial support in case they are struggling. All of this is managed by the Barça Veterans Foundation, created in 1995 under the presidency of Ladislau Kubala.

The Barça Players’ Association wants to bring our work closer to you. In our website you will be able to follow our daily activity through our news portal, and be updated about what is going on in the organization by visiting our diary of events. You will also find out about our services and about the advantages of being a BPA member.

In his own words, the BPA's current president, Ramon Alfonseda, claims that "we are opening the Association to the world because we are aware of the increasing interest that our Club's history awakens. Furthermore, we want to expand the Barça brand around the globe".
