Another session of the Association’s ‘Coach Values’ programme has been held with the aim of going further into the skills of a team of leaders

The Barça Players Association (BPA) have organised another session of the ‘Coach Values’ programme, aimed at institutions or companies who want to go deeper into work on their directors’ values of leadership. Through the experience of the FC Barcelona ex-players, and with the collaboration of the IESE teacher, Miquel Lladó, the session takes skills such as communication and teamwork onto the pitch.

This time, the recipients of the Association’s ‘Coach Values’ programme were members of Deppon, a Chinese logistics company who have a relationship with the IESE business school, a BPA collaborator. The day’s activities were led by Miquel Lladó and former FC Barcelona players; Joffre Mateu, Xevi Molist and Jordi Martínez. The main course of the day was the practical session on the FC Barcelona pitches, where the programme’s different target skills were worked on: leadership, communication and teamwork. Through the experience of the former Blaugrana players and the various exercises that were organised, the participants were able to experience these values for themselves, not just as spectators.

With this activity, which is the second BPA event of its kind, the Association wishes to place value on the knowledge and experience of FC Barcelona ex-players, above and beyond their technical football skills, putting a special emphasis on the values they acquired in their time at the Club.
