The Barça Players Association team played a friendly on the Monday, 25th of June against Wospac, a team of former players from the USA. The American side, who are currently on a sports tour in Barcelona, took the chance to arrange the match with the Association side and play on the training pitch at the Miniestadi.
More important than the result, in this case the azulgrana team got the win, is the fact that these types of games provide a unique opportunity to play with a team of FC Barcelona ex-players at the azulgrana facilities. These friendly games also serve to strengthen relations and explore the possibilities of future matches for the Association.
