BPA's journey to Poland against childhood cancer
The men’s team of BPA moved from last Sunday until today Tuesday to the town of Wroclaw, Poland, with the aim of participating in a solidarity event that has promoted the fight against childhood cancer.
BPA players visited Przyladek Nadzie Hospital in Wroclaw last Sunday, where they spent the morning with several sick little people and their families. With them, they were sharing different anecdotes in addition to giving them som gifts.
Robert Fernández extechical secretary and former FCB player, who has been part of the expedition: “it’s very nice to be able to see how sport promotes all this solidarity. The day in the hospital was very exciting, being able to be with the children was someting precious because, somehow, our visit served to give an apex of hope and faith for all of them. In addition, this visit is one more example of the values promoted by the ABJ and the Club in general, where sensitivity to these situations is one of the personal seals of the house”-
The team also played a benefit match hosted by Storwarzyszenie Orla Wasosz. The BPA prevailed 3-10 with goals from Mario Rosas, Oscar Olles, Jordi Martínez, Vilches, Molina, Jordi Rebollo (3) and to finish a goal on his own by the opposing team.
